The 2020 racing season began on Saturday night at the Jamestown Speedway. The weather was definitely windy, but the racing action was great and the weather held out until after the races had been completed for the night. This past Saturday was a very special night at the Jamestown Speedway as the 1st Annual Don Gumke Racers' Memorial took place. The top drivers from around the region were here to compete in the IMCA Modifieds, Wissota Street Stocks as part of the Steffes Tour, and Bombers. An awesome night of racing for the Thrills and Spills Extravaganza at the Jamestown Speedway on Saturday night, June 27th. The track was in a great shape as it had multiple grooves and a lot of side by side battles. The racing surface was back to the Jamestown that we know and love.
