Hi Race Fans and Drivers! Unfortunately, Mother Nature is not going to play nice this weekend, so the test and tune sessions scheduled for Saturday, May 9th and Sunday, May 10th have been postponed one week. These sessions will move to Saturday, May 16th and Sunday, May 17th. The test and tune sessions scheduled for Tuesday, May 12th and Thursday, May 14th will continue as scheduled. Please reach out to us at jamestownspeedway@gmail.com to let us know if you are not able to keep your practice time next weekend, or if you would like to be added to the list for future practice sessions.
Below is an updated test and tune schedule.
Session Date & Times:
- Tuesday, May 12th: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
- Thursday, May 14th: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
- Saturday, May 16th: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm, & 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
- Sunday, May 17th: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm, & 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Test & Tune Procedures:
5 drivers & 5 pit crew (1 pit crew/driver) per session for a total of 10 people. You will need to park with at least one pit space between each other and practice social distancing.
Only 1 or 2 cars (provided they are spread out) are allowed on the track at a time. This isn’t for social distancing, this is for insurance purposes
Sessions Cost: $500 ($100/driver if you have 5 drivers). Sessions will last 3 hours.
Additionally, the May 16, 2020, scheduled Season Opener has been postponed at this time due to COVID-19. We will be on-hold to officially start the racing season until we receive clearance to hold larger events in North Dakota from the Governor's office. However, we will race together SOON!
