The racing tonight was pretty good for an opener with two to three wide racing the entire night. The track seemed to be quite smooth, considering the amount of rain the track has received over the past few weeks. Also, the car count was great for the opener with a total of 107 cars.

Hard Wire Transponder

In 2010, the AMB (MY Laps) transponder will be required in all of our Wissota Classes.  We will be placing our order for the transponders April 19th, hoping to have them for Test and Tune. 

Please stop by O'Reillys and drop off your check for $300 made out to Jamestown Speedway - or mail your check and info to PO Box 544, Jamestown, ND  58401.   

There are 2 types of transponders  - rechargeable or hard wired.  The hardwired is the recommended type.  The rechargeables are more for rentals.

Don and Keith will be checking with the neighboring tracks to see how and where they are mounting their transponders so that we all are doing it the same way.

Marg Berg Benefit:  The benefit for Mark Berg is today from 5PM to 8PM at the KC Hall.  There will be a potato bar and a silent auction.

Dirt Talk Live:  From 6 to 7 PM tonight, the 2nd radio show of the season takes place at IDK Bar and Grill.  Drivers come out and support your sponsors.  Fans, come for the good time and door prizes.  See you there!

On May 15th, 2010 is Race Day at the National Buffalo Museum!   The museum would really appreciate if you brought your cars up!  There will be a people's choice award and the winner will get a goody basket from the museum and a FREE pit pass!! Yay!

From 9am-10pm will be registration for drivers & race cars!

11am-1pm  Buffalo Burgers, Chips and a Pop $5

1pm-2pm will be activities sack races, face painting etc. (You don't have to participate if you don't want to :D)

2pm-3pm Autographs from the drivers!!!!  Announce people's choice!

Drivers:  You do not have to stay the whole day next to your car but if you would/ could come from 2pm-3pm kids will love the autographs! Also if you want you can bring shirts to sell and cards!!
