Monday's headline in the Jamestown Sun for the speedway was 'A Pretty Big Deal', quoting Ashley Wampler after her first ever feature win in Jamestown last weekend.  One of the best parts of working at the speedway is getting to see a driver get their first win here.  Not to brag about the speedway, but we have some stiff competition here and getting a win here is a pretty big deal as Ashley commented.  As mentioned Ashley Wampler won the bomber feature.  In the MW Mods Royce Jawaski picked up the win.  In the Streets Dustin Erickson and Jonny Carter battled it out, with Carter grabbing the win in the end.  The Mods was won by Don Robinson.

This weekend we get to have some bonus fun at the races in a couple ways.  We are going to run the IMCA Modified makeup feature from July 4th, and also it is the Race of Champions qualifier for the WISSOTA Classes.  This race usually brings a few extra drivers looking to punch their ticket to the annual WISSOTA Race of Champions event in September.
Come on out this weekend, I promise it will be a good time!  The food is good, the drinks are cold, and the people in the stands are awesome to hang out with!  Hope to see you there!
